What time is it? It's Taco Time!

Recently I worked with many talented individuals on a series of Taco Time commercials. I was the production photographer and also shot stills of the 2009 menu items for print use. Here are shots of two yummy Taco Time menu selections and two behind the scenes production stills from the commercial set.

The KORG MR recorders

My latest product photography gig with the Korg MR recorders. This is the final ad using one of my group shots. These recorders are wonderful! If you're into audio recording technology you need to check them out. www.korg.com. I'll be using one myself soon.

What about the kids?

So I thought I would post a few pictures of my kids here occasionally. Here is a shot I took of David several months back. It's one of my favorites. David loves the rain like his dad and he likes to look at the puddles when he can't be jumping in them.

Models and zombies getting along beautifully!

Interesting night at Phase 54. I was shooting a lingerie show and at the same time there were zombies running around for Día de los Muertos. Fun stuff.

Lookin' Good! (New lighting stuff)

So I've been slowly "accumulating" the things I will need to do whatever it is I may need to do, at any time I need to do it. Here's two soon to be classic images (cough...) created using the latest addition to my arsenal. A 30x60 softbox.

I am in desperate need of models to keep me from further embarrassing myself.

Jack Ripper & L.A. Guns

Last night I photographed the amazing twelve year old Jack Ripper. He started playing at seven and now just five years later, his playing and stage presence is right up there with the best. A real treat to see him perform live. He and his band played a great set at Club Red in Tempe opening for L.A. Guns. Jack also joined Guns for a song during their set. Here are a few of my favorites. Metallica - World Magnetic Tour - 10.21.08

I did my second freelance assignment for the Phoenix New Times two night ago where Metallica kicked off their World Magnetic tour at jobing.com arena in Glendale AZ. I missed the opening band The Sword but I did get to see Down. This was a fun gig. I've never seen so many photographers at a show. I think there were sixteen there.

More Cool Product Photography

Pictured here is the wonderful VOX Virage guitar and a Marshall JVM amp. Both can make ya drool a bit. The last picture is the finished ad for the JVM where they only used a cropped version of the Marshall shot.

The Most Interesting Show In The World?

The Dos Equis "The Most Interesting Show In The World" variety show hosted by Jim Rose at Martini Ranch Scottsdale AZ.
I missed about half of the performances due to a late arrival but here are a few shots from the second half. The most interesting show in the world? Almost.

NYC at night.

I was in New York last week for a photo shoot and when I wasn't working on the shoot, I was out shooting. I can't help myself. I went to the city with a fellow photographer to do some night photography. Here are a few of my favorites. I'll post images from the photo shoot soon. Not the personal shoot...the other shoot I was there to do. You know what I meant, right? (The word "shoot" looks weird to me now.)

Last night I went to shoot Smokescreen. I first met Luke the guitar player and fellow photographer at the Collective Soul concert about a year ago (pictures from that show blogged here 10.19.07) They played at Chasers Lounge, which was the first venue I shot a live music event (The post that started this blog).
